General League Rules

Rules old and new....

Teams may sign up new players on the night as long as they are not currently registered for any other team, please add the player registration information to the back of the Match Result Sheet

A team may consist of as few as three players, 4 byes must be recorded on the results sheet, players must not play more than there 2 games and doubles if picked. (a team of 3 could still win 8-4 !)

If you need to rearrange or cancel your match the Team Captain or Vice Captain must contact the opposing Captain or Vice Captain (not the venue) by no later than 6:30pm on the date of the match. The Captain cancelling the match must then also text the League batphone to advise of this.

All league matches must be played and result sent into the league by Tuesday 18th May 2010. Any outstanding matches will be deemed as a 0-0 scoreline unless there are exceptional circumstances, which have been agreed with the League.

A match can be played with 3 players but no less. 3 players have the ability to win the match 8-4.

If the match can not played on the designated evening please text the batphone to advise.

If the match can not be rearranged then the cancelling team will lose 8-0. If any of the above occur please advise the league via a text to the batphone (07922 670745) stating the reason.

Major change for the league since the Summer 2009 season, Frame 11 (Doubles) will now be counting as 2 points so there are 12 points up for grabs per match.

REMEMBER there are 12 points up for grabs per Match, so be careful with your Match Result texts and sheets

Doubles Knockout Entry Forms must be with the league by Thursday 3rd December as the draw will be made on this day. The draw will then be posted on the website within the Doubles Knockout section. Please check this to see which venue your players will be drawn at and whom against.

KEEP TEXTING THOSE RESULTS THROUGH!

It is now vitally important to send these results through via text on the closure of the match on the Monday evening. This will ensure that we have enough time for the updated results and tables have the best opportunity of being published in the local paper.
